Rogue Folk Club 50/50 Raffle Fall 2024

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #155137

    3 for $5.00; 900 tickets
    20 for $10.00; 5000 tickets
    50 for $20.00; 10000 tickets
    100 for $30.00; 40000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $10,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: December 2, 2024 at 11:59:00 p.m. PST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: December 3, 2024 at 12:00:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 1504 Duranleau Street, Vancouver BC, V6H 3S4

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://roguefolkclub.rafflenexus.com/winners on December 3, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Rogue Folk Club.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Rogue Folk Club or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Rogue Folk Club does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: raffle@roguefolk.bc.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at raffle@roguefolk.bc.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

The Rogue Folk Club is a registered non-profit society in the Province of British Columbia. It was formed in 1987 to present concerts of folk and roots music in Vancouver. Our mission statement is: "To promote and foster folk music and its cultural heritage through concerts, workshops, publications and other such means, thereby bringing the experience of folk music to as wide an audience as possible".

The Rogue Folk Club provides a unique approach to concert presentation, offering audiences the opportunity to see and hear some of the most accomplished musicians and singers in the world in a relaxed, intimate setting. We present at least 50 concerts per year. Our shows take place at the Mel Lehan Hall at the St. James (3214 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver.) The hall has seating at tables and chairs as well as some pews. It is a beautiful former church, with a vaulted wooden ceiling, and a sprung dance floor. All our events are open to folks of all ages, and we offer discounts to seniors, children, and students.
